Hi, I’m Mrs. Homeowner. My husband and I struggled to save up our hard earned money to finally remodel our bathroom – it was long overdue.
We put a lot of thought into it. We wanted it to be perfect.
Finally it was done! We stood back and admired the final results.
I couldn’t wait to show my best friend Susan how it turned out. She would be so impressed with how it all turned out.
Now I just wanted to cry. My brand new bathroom was getting ruined! A nasty villian came to hide out in my house. His name was “Rusty B. Waters.” My nice white tub, toilet, and sinks were getting covered with rust stains. Yuck!
I couldn’t believe how hard those stains were to remove. I didn’t like to use such strong chemicals–but it was the only thing that seemed to work. Additionally, my husband wondered what those chemicals were doing to our septic system.

Of course he tested for Rusty B. Waters, our nasty villain… he liked to call him “sticky” iron. Actually, he tested for ferrous iron, ferric iron, organically bound iron, and lastly iron bacteria (most companies only test for total Iron).
He also sanitized a water tap and checked for health concerns like coliform bacteria, lead, sulfates, and nitrates. He also checked for hardness, pH, total dissolved solids, and turbidity.
Next, he looked at the space we had available for water treatment equipment and the plumbing requirements of our house.
Then he used miniature water systems using the same filtration media he was thinking of using to verify. It removed 100% of the minerals he wanted removed. He said, “If I can give you Rust Free Water with these small units I know my large equipment will work great.” It made sense to us.
Lastly, he made his recommendation, and answered all of our questions.
